  • I’ve been running on old hardware for a while. I’ve had a numerous number of harddrive crashes. But this time I’ve decided to not reinstate the backup. So now it’s a new fresh book instead of just a new page. Out with the old, in with the new.

  • Fat Statement is primarily known for being the nr1 custom button badge company in Sweden who later also started producing dog tags that the customer could design themselves as well as for the webserie Knappnytt .   From the left; Knatten , Buttons , Dog tags Fat Statement have yearly b2c sales of a bit over EUR100 000 and want to grow its international sales and especially being able to develop its software for external customers such as small to medium sized printers. Hence just before christmas FS…
  • After some fiddeling there’s some content going up here again. Frankly some fun stuff happened during the last week: Linus and Peter released Flattr , a new way for bloggers to get paid … which caused something of a blog explosion in Sweden and actually also Germany and probably a few other countries I don’t read so much . Check the video: ByLinus Simple but briliant idea, would be just so funny if this worked for flattr and they take this positition when eg digg has been working on a way to earn…
  • Flattr beta us up, we made it! Now it’s just like 1000 things left to do ;)
  • Apple App-store sales figures and stuff : Very interesting to see actual figures from the appstore. lots of numbers I wouldn’t had guessed. The total market for iPhone apps is huge, almost scary huge.
  • Laptop made by Atari in 1990. Never got sold for real. The design would work still, remarkable when you see it in perspective.
  • How hard is it to do a proper paginator? Here are 2 don’t s and 2 do s (The first one is horrific, and it’s from a webshop!)
  • I got to say it’s quite funny to stand beside and see how the Book Publishers applause there own death. They have apparently not seen what happened to the Music Publishers in the last decades. 1999 MP3 player: A small electronic device that can store thousands of albums. The music are more expensive then the physical counterpart and also encrypted. The device can easily be used to consume music not bought but “illegally downloaded”. 2009 E-book reader: A small electronic device that can store…
  • The dude I made says “HELLO!”
  • I made this!
  • It feels like a thing built on lies and promises, but it works, somehow it does. Not a quote from a “great thinker” but picked up from popular fiction writer Conn Iggulden when he’s trying to capture the feeling of how nomad tribe leader Ghengis Khan looks upon gold and how it powered the arab empire and its cities. Gold at that time must really have been the most useless piece of metal you could imagine its value only represented in the labour it took to dig it up.
  • I made this
  • Keeping busy as hell, lots of projects going right now, iphone game, productivity apps, revolutionary internet payments system, a webshop with recycled creations and all the other usual too. Hooray!
  •     A few hours ago the first customers picked out their packages from Bytelove Inc , the new US subsidiary of Bytelove AB. This would be the end (or beginning not sure) of a project we started a few months ago. Bytelove Inc is not just a new shop under another judicial person but a whole new way of working for us that we will probably implement in part also for the EU in the coming months. Some points: Magento Commerce : New e-commerce platform, yes we are leaving cubecart behind since it never…
  • A design for www.bytelove.com that I made in to a desktop background. Download the big one from bylinus.com
  • So I have had a Wester Digital TV Media Box for a while, great little thing plays almost everything you throw at it, even MKV in 1080p. But has not networking capabilities. Until now, just managed to install a custom firware and after a lot of googleing and crap finally understod how to configure it (haxxers really need to learn usability) and hooray it works like a charm! The firmware is called WDLXTV, google it if you want it.
  • After a certain trial the debate regarding a free vs controlled net has pretty much exploded here in Germany. Here the front cover from Der Spiegel nr 33 .
  • … and things start return to normal, let’s see if we can’t make thing go marry around a bit this autum. Lots of things in pipeline, you haven’t seen nothing yet!
  • Neat Atlas mashup based on wordpress from Webpal . Great example of how to do much with little!
  • What about a less than 50% sale?
  • “If you always do what you always done, you’ll always get what you always got.”
  • You are 56 times more likely to have an airplane crash into your house then winning a grand lottery. Statistics can be scary sometimes.
  • Made some new shirts a while back, now they are ready for sale. Thought I paste some of them.
